is a technique to remove unwanted fat that has accumulated in specific areas of the body, including the neck, arms, back, side region of the chest, abdomen, thighs in the inner and outer region (chaparreras), the inner and outer face of the knees.
How do I know if I am a candidate?
The best candidates for liposuction are people with a relatively normal weight, but they have clusters of fat in certain areas.
They must be physically healthy, psychologically stable and realistic about their expectations. And most importantly, they should have firm, elastic skin. Flaccid or hanging skin will not adapt to new contour shapes and may require additional intervention to remove excess skin.
With liposuction we achieve a more aesthetic and pleasant body contour, removing fat that is difficult to eliminate with diet and exercise. It can be combined with lipoinjection procedures, achieving what is known as a body liposculpture.
The scars are small incisions that are placed in strategic places so that they are not evident to the eye even using bikini. They can be placed in the intergluteal fold, below the lower crease of the gluteus, pubis level and in the axillary folds.
After a liposuction you should usually stay in the hospital one night. Subsequently a relative rest should be kept for a week. From the second week they begin to incorporate all the daily activities.
